Médias 19 is a website dedicated to research in the literary history of 19th century press. Various scientific projects are related to the platform, namely on the history of French-language journalism in the Americas (Guillaume Pinson, Université Laval, SSHRC), on the relations between media and digital culture (Marie-Ève Thérenty, Université de Montpellier 3, ANR Numapresse) and on Jules Verne and the Canadian imagination (Maxime Prévost, Université d’Ottawa, SSHRC). 

Médias 19 provides the research community and the general public with various resources on the history of journalism: journalists’ biographical records, databases, thematic issues, new editions of ancient texts, etc.
